The trouble with a kid who sleeps through from 11:00 to 6:00 is that when that kid wakes up at 6 a.m. she is FULLY RESTED.

Our child did not really sleep properly until age two-ish (I am not sure, as sleep interruptions impede memory formation), and he still usually wakes once or twice each night. Since he can now walk, we are often woken by a small person who requires a parent to return to blessed unconscious.

As a result, I am madly jealous of you. In fact, my jealousy is quite possibly strong enough to implode the sun.

Is this where I tell you she was only up for an hour or so, and then went back to bed and hasn't woken up again yet? Mornings are pretty easy around here....

I adore your status updates.

Me, too. This has made me happy every time I've read it.

Aw. I'm glad you guys are enjoying them!

After 7 hours YOU'RE not fully rested? Pshaw. Your offspring is clearly much more efficient.
;)

She's the new improved model!

I remember when Eli was like that. So. Damn. Chipper. at 6am! good thing they are cute!
