HOUSE!!!

HOUSE HOUSE HOUSE HOUSE HOUSE HOUSE HOUSE HOUSE

(House a day later than expected, because the bank is stupid. This has thrown off my planned thing-hauling schedule, but never mind. I have a revised thing-hauling schedule which will work just fine, and should still result in most boxes being out of the way by the time we get the truck on Saturday so we can focus on furniture then.)

I am all bouncy like the mood icon.

Ooh, with a font tag. Now that's enthusiasm. :)

Clearly, I haven't been following LJ enough. My first thought was "Did something awesome happen on the TV series?"

This is much better than that. (-:

House?

(Okay, just kidding. Congratulations!)

House?

Okay I will explain it in very short words -- they're all five letters long.

House! House! House!

:)

ENJOY ENJOY ENJOY ENJOY ENJOY

ENJOY!!!

ENJOY!!!

ENJOY ENJOY ENJOY ENJOY ENJOY ENJOY ENJOY ENJOY

And so on ... :-)

That is a good icon for bouncy things.

Hah! And there I was, thinking you were squeeing over a TV series

;-)

Andres and Cathy watch it. I watched an episode and determined I didn't like it.

Totally! And now it is the house full of boxes, and this one is not so much! Hurrah, we have claimed our territory and marked it with Stuff.

Congratulations!! Where is it located?

A bit west of where we are now, so still in Mountain View, familiar neighborhood, biking distance from all that is good and wonderful, handy to the little grocery and the big park, all kinds of good stuff.

And no homeowner's agreements, so I'm thinking of getting some chickens.

Chicken chicken! Err, that is to say, house!

Heh. Developing some enthusiasm for the idea?

Yay! Congratulations!

WITH CHICKENS!! (maybe!) YAY! HOUSE!

Looks like we may have to get signed permission letters from the neighbors. Chickens have to be at least 25 feet from any residence from which one does not have a signed letter, and while there are parts of the backyard that are 25 feet from all the neighbors at once (I think, I haven't measured yet), they are not the best parts for keeping chickens in. I suppose checking with the neighbors first would be polite anyway.

I met one of them today (a neighbor, not a chicken). He seems like a nice fellow -- told me he had three kids but they were very quiet. I said we were probably louder than they were, then. They seem to play in the front yard a lot. Perhaps they will play basketball with me.

Congratulations and welcome to the joys of home ownership!
